- Heat pump stuck in one mode. You set it to heat and get cold air, or vice versa. York’s O/B terminal logic confuses a lot of generic replacements. Wire it like a Carrier and the reversing valve never switches.
- Unresponsive buttons or ghost touches. Capacitive screens on newer York Wi-Fi stats fail from the inside out in Houston’s Gulf Coast humidity. We’ve pulled units from homes near Braeswood Bayou that looked fine but registered phantom presses from moisture behind the glass.
